Our Story
Founded by Tiffany Polito, Coast Keepers was born from a passion for environmental education and a love for the ocean. Tiffany recognized the need for a program that not only taught children about marine life but also empowered them to become stewards of the environment. With a deep connection to Southern California's coastal beauty, she set out to create a program where learning goes beyond the classroom, providing children with a deeper understanding of the natural world around them.
Since our inception, Coast Keepers has grown into a trusted resource for families and homeschool groups, offering enriching, educational experiences that spark curiosity and build knowledge about the wonders of marine ecosystems.

Coast Keepers offers a variety of educational programs for children ages 6-12, focused on marine biology and coastal exploration. From tide pool adventures to marine biology workshops, our lessons are designed to ignite a passion for learning while fostering a deep connection to the natural world.
Tide Pool Exploration: Hands-on exploration of tide pools, introducing children to sea stars, crabs, and other marine life while teaching them about the importance of coastal ecosystems.
Marine Biology Classes: Interactive lessons on the fundamentals of marine science, perfect for young learners eager to dive into topics like ocean habitats, food chains, and conservation.
Environmental Stewardship: Through all of our programs, we emphasize the importance of protecting our beaches and oceans, empowering students to take an active role in conservation efforts.
